New is good.  New cars smell amazing.  New clothes give us a renewed sense of confidence for some crazy reason (it’s just fabric). Many people want to live in the ‘newer’ part of town, in a new house, and have their children attend newer schools.  Even a new adventure can cut through the daily drudgery of the mundane.

We like new.  We can become inspired by new.  But eventually….new grows old.  What then?

When it comes to possessions, we simply go: “out with the old, and in with the new” -as they say.  But what about when it comes to our attitudes and our spirit?  Sometimes, old can take its toll.

This is why it’s good to be able to experience RENEWAL.  Renewal reawakens us.  Re-inspires us.  Redirects us.  If we are open to it, God will lead us into seasons of renewal.  And often times, it is EXACTLY what our souls need….
